- Open to all members and non-members. All artwork must have been completed in the last three years and not have previously won an award at NPAC. Membership is not required but members enjoy reduced entry fees and other perks. You may purchase a membership online or in person.
- Entry Fees: An entry consists of 1 to 3 artworks. Member Fees: 1 For $20, 2 For $30, 3 For $35, Diptych $25, Triptych $30. Non-Member Fees: 1 For $25, 2 For $40, 3 For $50, Diptych $35. Triptych $45. Small Works Shows: Member Fees: 5 @ $5 Each, Non-Member Fees: 5 @ $10 Each
- Artist’s name, e-mail, phone number, title of work, medium and price must be written on the back of each entry. A 30% commission goes to NPAC on all work sold during the exhibition.
- The following types of art are accepted: 2D - painting (including oil, acrylic, collage, watercolor and mixed media), drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass. 3D - all artwork must fit on our display stands or artist must submit their own. Weight should not exceed 35 lbs. Jewelry must be presented with a display stand.
- We reserve the right to reject any art that depicts nudity or controversial subject matter.
- Copyright infringement of any kind is unacceptable. It is unethical and against our policy for artists to submit work created from another person’s drawing, painting, photo or other artwork. No copies of stock images, historic photos or of any reference to which you do not hold total copyright are allowed. No mechanical, giclee, digital, computer altered or reproductions acceptable other than original artist’s prints. Current students at NPAC may submit their class work provided it is the sole work of the student.
- Artists retain copyright to their images. However, accepted images do become part of NPAC archives and may be used for event promotion.
- Museum/Gallery wrap canvas less than 1.5 in. requires a frame, otherwise sides should be painted with no staples showing. Poster frames are not acceptable.
- Frames, mats, glass and plexiglass must be clean and unblemished. Work must be thoroughly dry.
- Artwork should be wired with the top of the wire 3 in. below the top edge of the frame so that the gallery hook does not show. Wire should be affixed with D rings or sturdy eyehooks that are fully secured. Wire ends taped. If repairs or adjustments are needed at time of entry $5 fee per piece.
- All artwork must be removed at the close of the exhibit on the specified removal date.
- Due to limited storage, artwork not picked up after 30 days of removal date will be considered property of the art center.
- Liabilities and Responsibilities: NPAC is not responsible for loss or damage from any cause. By submitting artwork to one of our exhibitions, artist will be deemed to have agreed to and accepted this policy.
